APM, the Anti Pollution Movement, is a forum developed to counter and thus eradicate the perils caused by pollution. If encourages a persevering struggle to invigorate the masses and thereby enable them to perceive on imminent catastrophe caused the Climate Change, as a threat to their posterity. The Global Warming, perhaps the least desired byproduct of this era is rapidly minimizing the possibilities of our survival on this planet. Hence, unprecedented progress and development of science can never compensate for the concomitant disaster of pollution. The environmental pollution has, on a broader horizon, compelled people from the world to join hands against this common foe. The increasing trends of deforestation, assimilation of poisonous gases into the air, the perilous effect of the Global Warming on the worldwide glacier reserves and t the catastrophe brought about by the solid wastes are all ingredients of a colossal challenge that awaits some dedicated human efforts and a motivated and a cooperative public behavior. To make this earth a worth living in, as it has always been at least for the homoscepiens and to maintain a good upkeep of our environmental apparatus, pollution must be regarded as a byword for the collapse of our ecological systems and a substantial personal effort should be made by each strata of the human society for this noble cause.
APM, Anti Pollution Movement, didn't come to the fore by a sheer fluke, rather there was an immense spirit of devotion and altruism behind its creation. The APM was founded by Mr. Raza Khan in Govt. College Gujranwala, Pakistan in 1990 and his colleagues lent support to his objective thoughts as well as to his profound study on the subject and thereby gave themselves over to his ordous challenge. Since its inception, the forum of APM has been used to promote multifarious issues regarding the causes of pollution and their eradication.
To launch a consolidated and incessant effort to overcome all sort of environmental pollution.
To wage a crusade against deforestation and to prevent our forest economy from being wasted for trivial personal gains. And to support reforestation.
To encourage sustainable development for better future.
To carryout scientific research to overcome the problems of environmental pollution.
To awake consciousness among masses to take adaptive measures in the Climate Change Perspective.
To address the authorities to preserve the Alpine Glacier Resource of the Indus Valley.
